How I can help

Talking therapy

As a talking therapist, I offer a warm, non-judgmental, confidential relationship in which you can explore your experiences and the underlying feelings and meanings they may have for you. I will stay alongside you in whatever you are wanting to address, be it depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, abuse, bereavement, or other issues that are troubling or challenging you. I will support you in listening deeply to yourself with acceptance and trust and in connecting with what you think, feel, want and need.

Somatic Experiencing Therapy

As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I will listen with you to the story of the body, staying curious about what may be stuck and wanting to be released or integrated so that you are more able to live life to the full. This might involve renegotiating past trauma, including single event shock traumas or much earlier developmental trauma which may have lead to patterns of tension, pain and emotional reactivity which feel difficult to shift. We will support a body mind dialogue to connect with the body’s innate capacity for healing and change. Supervision

As a supervisor I seek to create a space where counsellors and psychotherapists can freely explore their work with clients whilst also attending to their own development as practitioners. I offer supervision one to one or in groups.

We’ll work together

I invite a collaborative, relational way of working, in which you can direct the content and pace of the therapy or supervision and we will regularly review the work to ensure you are getting the most from it.
